The Sociology Society is an organization for students who are Sociology majors or considering a major in Sociology. The Sociology Society has three purposes:
1.) To create and identify opportunities that will benefit Sociology majors both in their academic pursuits and in their future careers.
2.) To foster a stronger relationship between Sociology majors and faculty members of the Sociology department.
3.) To install a sense of pride in being a Sociology major at the University of Virginia.
